Job summary

Voyage-Care is seeking a caring Support Worker for 21 hours per week in Worksop. You will help people live more independently in daily life, support with personal care, and enable engagement with the community, activities, and outings.

The role offers value-driven work in a friendly residential setting with a team that emphasises Positive Behaviour Support and reflective practice, while ensuring DBS checks and references are satisfactory.

Job description

Support Worker - 21 hours – Worksop - £12.72 per hour

Shifts are: Monday to Sunday, 7:30am - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 9:30pm.

  • Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour (Ts & Cs apply)
  • Premium overtime rates at an additional £1 per hour (Ts & Cs apply)

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our Adult Residential Service, Rivers in Worksop is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local restaurants and attending appointments, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
