Job summary

Careline Lifestyles - Lyons Court in Bishop Auckland is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help residents build independence and enjoy everyday life.

You’ll provide person-centred support, assist with daily living and community activities, and work closely with colleagues, families and professionals. Full training is provided and an Enhanced DBS check is required.

Please note: This role involves supporting adults who may display behaviours that challenge. Experience with complex needs is advantageous, but full training will be provided.

The Role

Location: Lyons Court, Evenwood, Bishop Auckland

Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

Job Type: Permanent

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred support to the people living in our service, helping them build independence, achieve their goals and enjoy everyday life.

You could be supporting someone with their daily routine, accessing the community, taking part in activities, developing life skills or simply providing reassurance when they need it.

Your Key Duties

You will be responsible for:

• Providing person-centred support in line with individual care plans
• Supporting with daily living activities and personal care where required
• Promoting independence, choice, dignity and inclusion
• Building positive and trusting relationships
