Support Worker
Pay rate: £13.00 - 13.50 (Monthly Pay)
Shift Pattern: 22:00 to 08:00, 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Sunday
We have a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with a child living in their family home in Birmingham. This individual has complex clinical needs, including a brain disorder, early developmental impairment, and Global Development Delay, but these do not define them. They have a great sense of humor and enjoy a wide range of hobbies.
Enriching activities will be a key part of your support, and you will bring a compassionate and empathetic approach to truly make a difference in this person's life. You should have previous experience in the following areas:
What will your shift involve?
You will provide high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring the individual receives compassionate, tailored support. Responsibilities include engaging in meaningful activities, taking them out into the community to promote social interaction and well-being, supporting household tasks, and maintaining a comfortable, organized living environment. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner is essential to building trust.
