This position is for people living in the Birmingham locality. The shifts available are Monday to Sunday, and are flexible throughout the day.

Shift patterns vary—more information available. Please note—we will not be offering Tier 2 Sponsorship for this role.

ALL SUPPORT WORKERS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK ALTERNATE WEEKENDS

We offer full training, a competitive salary, and flexible working hours. We also pay an enhanced rate over weekends, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.

As a support worker, you will be involved in maintaining an individual’s wishes to remain in the comfort of one of our semi-independent services, and you will be required to carry out tasks such as:

  1. Medication Administration
  2. Meal Preparation and support with Nutritional and Hydration needs
  3. Budgeting finances and support with employment and education
  4. Companionship
  5. Domestic Tasks
  6. Support with appointments

We treat each service user with dignity and respect and expect caring attitudes from all caregivers. Must have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening) and be proactive with regular and flexible work hours.

We encourage personal development by offering external qualifications such as QCF Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and Children’s Services, NCFE CACHE Level 2 in various subjects, and the Care Certificate.

If you feel you’re ready for a new challenge, or a complete career change then apply today to become part of an award-winning team, who have a GOOD CQC rating across all areas. This is a highly rewarding career path.

All positions are subject to an Enhanced DBS check. If you don’t have an Adults and Children’s DBS on the update service, we can help you apply. You will also need a minimum of 2 employer references and 1 character reference.
