Job summary

Liaise East Anglia is seeking caring individuals to join our Support Worker team. We value Positive, Progressive and Personal support and aim to help every person lead a happy, purposeful life. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

We are looking for dedicated people to fill a full-time day-shift role for male applicants, with a DBS check required. Training will be provided to help you succeed in supporting those who live in our homes.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of care is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Safeguarding responsibilities should be taken seriously.
• Effective decision making and judgment are important.
• Strong planning and organisation skills are needed.
• Health & Safety standards must be achieved.

Responsibilities

• Assist those we support with daily tasks using training provided.
• Support in day-to-day life including social visits and days out to local attractions.
• Keep paperwork up to date for each person in the home.

We are looking for caring people to join our fabulous team as a Support Worker or a Care Assistant full training and support will be given.

• Full time day shifts available for Male applicants

What You Will Be Doing

• Using the training provided, assist those who we support by helping with daily tasks
• Be there to support in day to day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out to some great, local attractions
• Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the home
• Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home.

What we would like you to have to be able to do it:

• A basic understanding of care is beneficial
