Job summary

Enham Trust’s Care at Home Service in England is seeking two full-time Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

You’ll work a two-week rota with weekday and weekend shifts, and you’ll be supported to gain Care Certificates if required. We champion independence, dignity and choice, and we foster a compassionate team environment with training and development. You’ll be supported by a dedicated team and supervision to help you thrive in this rewarding role.

Qualifications

  • Basic literacy and numeracy are required.
  • Empathy, patience and a compassionate approach are essential.
  • Experience in a caring environment is preferred (e.g. hospitality, education, or similar).
  • Enhanced DBS check or eligibility for the Update Service is required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
  • Promote independence, choice and dignity in daily routines.
  • Work within a two-week rota including weekdays and alternating weekends.
  • Participate in training and Care Certificate development as needed.

Job description

We’re looking for two full time Support Worker's to join our dedicated team at Enham Trust’s Care at Home Service. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with residents and colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll champion independence, choice, and dignity, always guided by the Skills for Care Code of Conduct for Adult Social Care Workers in England.

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in improving lives and making a meaningful difference every day. You’ll embody the values of Enham Trust and the Aster Group, promoting motivation, participation, and compassion in everything you do.

You’ll work a two week rota: Week 1 is Monday to Friday, and Week 2 is Monday to Sunday, with two days off during the week. Shifts are between 7:00am and 10:30pm.

We’re passionate about supporting your growth, so we support our Care colleagues with achieving their Care Certificates if required.

About you

We’re looking for individuals who bring warmth, empathy, and reliability to the role. You’ll need:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy
  • A compassionate and patient approach
  • Ideally, experience in a caring environment (e.g. hospitality, education, or similar)
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS check or be registered with the Update Service
