Dignus Group is hiring a Support Worker in the United Kingdom. You will assist adults with complex needs to increase independence and work to personal care plans, providing person-centred support tailored to each individual.

Role involves daily living tasks, developing life skills, helping access community activities, and maintaining tenancy. We offer training, progression, and a supportive work environment across flexible shifts.

About the Role:

You will support vulnerable adults with a range of complex needs, helping them move towards greater independence and achieve their personal goals.

Working to individual care plans and risk assessments, you will provide person‑centred support tailored to each individual’s needs.

This may include:

• Supporting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and shopping
• Helping individuals develop life skills and confidence
• Supporting access to community activities, appointments and opportunities
• Encouraging choice, independence and informed decision‑making
• Supporting individuals to maintain their tenancy and home environment
• Completing accurate daily records, incident reports and support documentation
• Working closely with social workers, professionals, families and wider support networks
• Supporting transitions, including new admissions and moves between services
• Responding calmly and appropriately to incidents, risks and emergencies

You’ll help create a safe, positive home environment where people feel valued, empowered and able to thrive.

Working pattern:

This is a 24/7 service, and we are looking for a mixture of day and nightSupport Workers to join the team.

We have both full‑time (37.5 hours per week) and part‑time (22.5 hours per week) positions available.

• Day shifts: Shifts cover the period between 7am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday, on a rota basis.
• Night shifts: 10pm to 7am, Monday to Sunday, on a rota basis.

Flexibility is important, as the needs of the people we support can vary from day to day.

What we’re looking for:

We welcome applications from both experienced Support Workers and people who are new to care but have the right values, attitude and willingness to learn.

You may be a great fit if you have:

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs, or transferable experience from roles involving people support, customer service, healthcare, education, hospitality or community work
• A caring, calm and person‑centred approach
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Confidence working in fast‑paced or unpredictable environments A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative
• Good record keeping and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional boundaries
• Flexibility to work across shifts
• A genuine passion for helping people live more independent lives
• A Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care is desirable, but not essential.
