Job summary

Care Quality Services is seeking Support Workers in the Mochdre area of Colwyn Bay. You will help vulnerable people live independently, building relationships and supporting daily living in their own homes.

No experience is required as full training is provided, with NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care offered through work-based learning. Shift pattern includes two-week cycles with 42 hours per week; pay starts at £12 per hour and may vary by position and experience.

Job description

We're looking for Support Workers in the Mochdre area, Colwyn Bay.

As a Support Worker with Care Quality Services, you'll play a key role in improving the lives of vulnerable people through the care and support you provide.

You'll be supporting individuals with varying needs and abilities, including learning disabilities, complex needs and mental health conditions.

Role Highlights:

We operate a two‑week shift pattern made up of 24‑hour and 12‑hour shifts, averaging 42 hours per week.

Week B: Tuesday 7pm (12‑hour sleep‑in), Thursday 7pm (12‑hour sleep‑in), Sunday 9am-Monday 9am (24‑hour shift). - £12 per hour, depending on experience and available positions.

We can consider both drivers and non‑drivers.

Opportunity to complete NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care through work‑based learning, with further progression available.

You’ll build relationships, encourage social development and support individuals in all aspects of daily living.

Some of the individuals in our supported living homes are capable of leading independent lives, and your role will be to help them maintain that independence and live their best life.

The role may include elements of personal care.
