Harmony Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to assist a child with learning disabilities across services in the Hounslow area. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care within homecare settings, promoting independence and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, MAPA/PMVA training, and have flexibility to work days/nights/weekends. Commitment to safeguarding and CQC standards is essential.

Qualifications

  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is required.
  • MAPA/PMVA or similar training is preferred.
  • Right to work in the UK is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.
  • Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
  • Assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence.
  • Accurate documentation and reporting of care and incidents.
  • Working closely with nurses and allied health professionals.
  • Adhering to safeguarding, MCA, and CQC standards.
  • Experience as an HCA in learning disability or mental health settings.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally.
  • Strong communication and observation skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts (days/nights/weekends).

Job description

£15.20 hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

We are seeking experienced Support Workers (SWs) to support a child with learning disabilities needs across services in the Hounslow area.

The Role

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care within a homecare settings. This role requires confidence in managing Learning disability needs, promoting independence, and working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care

Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions

Assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence

Accurate documentation and reporting of care and incidents

Working closely with nurses and allied health professionals

Adhering to safeguarding, MCA, and CQC standards

Previous experience as an HCA in learning disability and/or mental health settings

Knowledge of mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and complex needs

Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally

Strong communication and observation skills

Flexibility to work shifts (days/nights/weekends)

Right to work in the UK

NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care

PMVA/MAPA or similar training

Experience in supported living, residential, or inpatient services
