Job summary

Harmony Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care for a child with learning disabilities in the Hounslow area. You will work in homecare settings, promoting independence and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Applicants should have NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, PMVA/MAPA training, and relevant experience in learning disabilities or mental health settings.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is required.
• PMVA/MAPA or similar training is preferred.
• Experience in learning disabilities and/or mental health settings is essential.
• Knowledge of mental health conditions and complex needs.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.
• Support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
• Assist with daily living activities while promoting independence.
• Accurate documentation and reporting of care and incidents.
• Work closely with nurses and allied health professionals.
• Adhere to safeguarding, MCA, and CQC standards.
• Prior experience as an HCA in relevant settings is desirable.
