Job summary

Harmony Healthcare in the Hounslow area is seeking experienced Support Workers to support a child with learning disabilities across services.

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care within homecare settings, promote independence, and collaborate with nurses and allied health professionals while adhering to safeguarding, MCA, and CQC standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HCA in learning disability and/or mental health settings.
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
• PMVA/MAPA or similar training.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of mental health conditions and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.
• Support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
• Assist with daily living activities while promoting independence.
• Accurate documentation and reporting of care and incidents.
• Work closely with nurses and allied health professionals.

• Manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts (days/nights/weekends).

The Role

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care within a homecare settings. This role requires confidence in managing Learning disability needs, promoting independence, and working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions
• Assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence
• Accurate documentation and reporting of care and incidents
• Working closely with nurses and allied health professionals
• Adhering to safeguarding, MCA, and CQC standards
• Previous experience as an HCA in learning disability and/or mental health settings
• Knowledge of mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and complex needs
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Flexibility to work shifts (days/nights/weekends)
• Right to work in the UK

• Experience in supported living, residential, or inpatient services
