Job summary

GSL Education in Derby is seeking a dedicated Support Teaching Assistant to join primary schools in Derby and nearby areas. You will support teachers across the curriculum, assist with learning resources and engage with pupils to promote positive outcomes.

The role is full-time and long-term, with a daily rate of £100-£120. Ideal candidates will have school-based experience and a patient, proactive approach, plus strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experienced teaching assistant with classroom experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.
