Support Stage Manager Role at Butlin's

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Support Stage Manager to oversee the technical delivery of entertainment across one of our four venues. Responsibilities include coordinating the LX/AV, Sound, and Stage Teams to ensure seamless show delivery during rehearsals and performances.

Key duties involve maintenance, cleaning, and stocking of all technical elements such as props, set pieces, pyrotechnics, and supporting materials. Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and ready for each performance is essential.

A critical aspect of the role is maintaining high health and safety standards on and off stage. You will conduct safety checks, complete show reports, and monitor compliance with safety procedures throughout production.

You will also support developing a robust cover program for show operations and contribute to succession planning.

About You

Ideal candidates will have experience in the entertainment industry, including stage management and leadership. A passion for delivering high-quality entertainment, identifying areas for improvement, and enhancing processes is essential. Flexibility across various breaks (family, adult, conferences) and adherence to company procedures and brand guidelines are required.
