About the Role

This managerial role involves supervising and supporting the technical team, creating detailed show reports, and developing stage plans and schedules to ensure the smooth running of day and evening entertainments. The role also includes running technical and dress rehearsals alongside the director, liaising with all parties involved in production and entertainment leadership.

You will act as security personnel to safeguard equipment and performers, which includes lifting and carrying equipment and sets, unloading and loading vehicles, and ensuring proper storage and maintenance of scenery and scenic properties, following health and safety procedures.

The primary goal is to ensure all shows are delivered to a high standard consistent with the Butlins brand.

Key Responsibilities

We seek an experienced stage manager with proven experience in the entertainments industry, technical procedures and systems, stage management, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be creative, and able to work to deadlines. You should be proactive, a team player, flexible, passionate, and enthusiastic about entertainment.
