Cefn Carnau Hospital is seeking an experienced Support Services Manager to lead the administration and support services. You will ensure a professional, responsive service for colleagues, service users and stakeholders, while maintaining accurate records and compliant processes.
You will oversee purchasing, supplier liaison and financial admin tasks, and work with clinical teams to support governance, training and maintenance activities across the site.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will oversee the provision of a high-quality, efficient and reliable administration service, supporting the smooth operation of the hospital and ensuring colleagues, service users and external stakeholders receive a professional and responsive service. You will lead the Administration Team, maintain effective office systems and provide operational support across a wide range of functions including governance, training compliance, facilities management and fleet administration.
Working closely with clinical and operational teams, you will coordinate administrative processes, manage correspondence, prepare reports and minutes, support governance activities and ensure records are maintained accurately and confidentially. You will also oversee purchasing processes, raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and ensuring invoices are processed efficiently in line with organisational procedures.
A key part of the role involves supporting compliance and operational effectiveness across the hospital. You will coordinate staff training requirements, maintain accurate training records and work with managers to ensure mandatory learning remains up to date. You will also oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) administration, ensuring servicing schedules, contractor visits, certification and compliance records are maintained effectively.
In addition, you will support the management of the site's vehicles and driver records, ensuring vehicle servicing, MOTs and compliance checks are completed on time. Where required, you will also provide support with financial administration, including patient funds processes, petty cash management and associated record keeping.
