Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a compassionate Support Practitioner to provide person-centred assistance with daily living, meals, appointments and social activities in the local community.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; a UK manual licence with one year's experience is needed, and some clients may enjoy swimming, so comfort in water is helpful. Shifts include 7 days a week and 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; training provided.
• Full UK manual driving licence with 1 year of driving experience.
• Commitment to SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with support from Training Academy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals and assist with household tasks.
• Support people to attend medical appointments and manage personal care.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, social activities and community events.
• Assist with medications and daily routines as directed.
• Support individuals to stay connected with friends and family.
