Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a compassionate Support Practitioner to join our Lossiemouth service supporting 6 adults with learning and physical disabilities. You will assist with daily living, personal care, medication support, and finances, with training provided.

No prior care experience is required; we recruit on values and transferable skills. The role is 30 hours per week, with fully funded SVQ training, and opportunities to develop in social care within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Confidence in using computers.

• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities in all aspects of daily living, including support with medication and finances.
• Support with housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• Engage with service users in activities and hobbies to promote wellbeing.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
