Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners to help people in Jedburgh living at home. Training including a funded SVQ is provided; a full UK driving licence is required and applications from female candidates are welcome.

Join a supportive team delivering person-centred care across Scotland, with opportunities to develop skills and progress in social care. PVG checks and SSSC registration will be completed after joining.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; training provided through SVQ on funded course.
• Female applicants only and must have a full UK driving licence.
• PVG and registration with SSSC within 3 months of start date are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in own homes with daily living activities.
• Support with medication, finances, housework, meals and personal care.
• Engage with service users in activities and hobbies to promote wellbeing.
