Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is hiring female Support Practitioners to assist individuals with disabilities in daily living within their homes across Scotland. A valid driving licence is required, and full training including SVQ is provided.

No prior care experience is necessary as we recruit on values and transferable skills; you will join a supportive team with ongoing development and opportunities to grow in social care.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Strong observation skills to notice needs and risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comfort with using computers and basic IT tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with disabilities in daily living, including personal care, meal prep, housework and finances.
• Assist with medication under supervision and accompany residents to activities.
• Promote independence and provide compassionate, person-centred support in home settings.
