Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Hamilton/Blantyre is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners to help individuals live independently at home. No care experience needed as full training including a fully funded SVQ is provided.

Drivers with their own car are encouraged to apply; you will support people with daily living tasks, medication, finances, meals, and personal care, while engaging them in activities they enjoy. We promote inclusion and career progression.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Good observation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily living tasks, including support with medication and finances.
• Help with housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• Engage people in hobbies and activities and support them to participate in social opportunities.
