Carr Gomm is launching a Home-Based Respite service across Inverness-shire to give carers a break while the people they care for continue receiving support at home, delivered with person‑centred care.
You will be a Permanent Support Practitioner, travelling to rural areas to build trusted relationships with individuals and families, and supporting them when needed, including evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. We’re launching a new Home-Based Respite service across Inverness-shire, giving carers a break while the people they care for continue getting the support they need at home, delivered in a way that puts them first. You’ll have genuine opportunity to grow and develop as the service takes shape.
We are looking for people to support children with disabilities. As a support practitioner, you will be caring, reliable, and motivated to make a difference in their community. Full training is provided and you will be supported to achieve an SVQ in Health and Social Care while you work. You will need a driving license, as you will travel to support people in rural areas.

We are looking for candidates who are flexible to work a variety of shift patterns, supporting people when they need it, outwith school days, evenings, weekends and school holidays.
