Job summary

Carr Gomm is seeking a friendly and reliable Support Practitioner to provide person-centred home-based support for carers and people in need in rural Sutherland. Full training is provided and you will work toward an SVQ in Health and Social Care while you earn and gain practical experience.

You will need a driving licence to travel to clients across rural areas and build trusting relationships with families, with shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

About Us

Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. Our Home-Based Respite service in the Sutherland provides support to carers by giving them a break, while ensuring the people they care for continue to get the help they need at home through delivering person-centred support.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for people who are caring, reliable, and motivated to make a difference in their community. Full training is provided and you will be supported to achieve an SVQ in Health and Social Care while you work. You will need a driving licence, as you will travel to support people in rural areas.

You will build strong, trusting relationships with people and their families

We are looking for candidates who are flexible to work a variety of shift patterns, supporting people when they need it, including days, evenings, and weekends.
