Job summary

Cornerstone is recruiting relief Support Practitioners for roles based in Perth, Kinross & Blairgowrie. You will support individuals with learning and/or physical disabilities, helping with meals, activities and personal development.

Successful candidates join a team delivering 24/7 care with flexible shifts. Training is provided; employment includes pre-employment checks and SSSC registration within 3 months of starting.

Qualifications

• Full paid training provided, no prior experience needed.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.
• Must be registered with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment.

Shift Patterns

We’re dedicated to providing the best 24/7 support possible, so shift patterns for our services involve early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, public holidays and sleepovers.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
