An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support for Learning Assistant to join Hillview Nursery. The position is 10 hours per week.
Candidates should have the skills, knowledge, and experience of supporting children with varied additional support needs within a busy early learning and childcare setting.
You will be nurturing, understanding, compassionate, and patient, as well as dedicated and enthusiastic, to meet the needs of individual children.
You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with staff, children, families, and professionals from external agencies. Prior knowledge and experience of supporting children with additional support needs is desirable.
The successful candidate will need to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
