North Yorkshire Centre for Independent Living in Harrogate is seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to help a gentleman in his 20s who lives independently. He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and autism and needs support with domestic duties, cooking balanced meals and accessing the community.

There are initially 16 hours per week rising to 22, on-site in Harrogate HG2, with some evenings as needed. Pay is £13.79 per hour; pension option available if over 21; Disability Confident employer scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in additional needs is essential for this position.
• Support Work: 1 year (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Assist a gentleman with domestic duties, cooking balanced meals and accessing the community.
• Support with travel to activities and events as needed.
