Job summary

Nycil is seeking 2 to 3 Personal Support Assistants to cover 58.5 hours per week for a 31-year-old visually impaired lady. Coverage is seven days a week with varied shifts, including early mornings, afternoons and evenings, term-time and school holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be a confident driver with access to a car.
• Enhanced DBS check including children is required.
• Support a visually impaired person at all times.

• Support social activities with the client and her daughter, including swimming.

Job description

2 to 3 Personal Support Assistants are required to cover 58.5 hours per week, to support a 31-year-old lady who is visually impaired with her day-to-day living. Support is required 7 days per week.

The rate of pay is £13.79

Support required:

• Attending events and social outings
• Assistance with her appearance
• Admin; including booking holidays (with occasional support whilst on holiday)
• Support with social activities with her and her 5-year-old daughter including swimming.

The hours are usually structured in term-time (depending on activity) and during school holidays they will be more flexible.

Monday to Friday: 7.5 hours per day with various shifts to cover (early morning, afternoon and late evening) term time, with later start time in the mornings in school holidays

Weekends: 10.5 hours per day with various shifts to cover

Additional Requirements:

Must be confident driver and have access to a car, energetic and have a young attitude.

An Enhanced DBS (including children) will be required for this position.
