Job summary

Horton Housing in Harrogate is seeking a full-time Support Coach to join the LIFE team, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, to help people become tenancy ready and access welfare and life skills coaching.

You will develop tailored support plans and support people in our accommodation and community, conducting welfare checks while adhering to safeguarding policies.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required; DBS checks and right to work in the UK will be completed.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Support Coach to join our brand-new LIFE (Living Independently For Everyone) team in Harrogate. This role is 35 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday.

As a Support Coach at LIFE Harrogate, you will work with the people we support, helping them to achieve their individual goals. You will work in partnership with them to devise a tailored support plan and support them in becoming tenancy ready. This may include helping them to access welfare, life skills coaching, and supporting them to attend any appointments. You will also be responsible for the welfare of the people we support, undertaking welfare checks and following safeguarding policies. You will support both people living in our supported accommodation, as well as people living in the community.

What you will need:

Please note this role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle which can be insured for business use.
