Job summary

United Response in Harrogate is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our small care home team. This role involves personal care, meal preparation, household tasks and supporting residents in the community.

You will work 37.5 hours per week at £13.25 per hour, with flexible weekend hours and comprehensive training provided. A DBS check is required, and sponsorship is not available.

United Response are looking for a full time support worker with experience in challenging Behaviour and lone working for our service in Harrogate.

About the service:

We are a small, welcoming care home in Harrogate, providing tailored support for four young adults with complex physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and wheelchair use.

We are currently seeking a Support Worker to join our dedicated and friendly team. This role involves supporting individuals with a wide range of daily living activities both at home and in the community. Responsibilities include:

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, bathing, and use of any specialist equipment)
  • Meal preparation and assistance
  • Household tasks and medication support
  • Supporting individuals in the community (e.g., attending medical appointments, shopping, and social outings)
