Fife Council is seeking a Transactions Payroll team member to manage employee records in Oracle Cloud and handle payroll calculations and queries. This role offers a permanent contract and a 36-hour week with blended working and some travel to office locations in Fife.
The successful candidate will maintain data integrity, respond to payroll questions, and ensure accurate processing of leave and salary adjustments. Training and development opportunities are provided.

The Shared Service Centre provides specialist business support services that underpin the delivery of payroll, pensions, recruitment, ordering, invoicing, IT frontline and HR enquiry services. It operates and maintains a range of systems and processes, ensuring accurate data entry, calculations, advice, information, policy and procedure guidance, and monitoring activities.
These posts are based within the Transactions Payroll Team. The main duties include the creation and maintenance of employee records within Oracle Cloud, including processing new starts, leavers, transfers and contract changes. You will also be responsible for dealing with payroll queries and undertaking calculations relating to annual leave, statutory sick pay, statutory maternity pay, overpayments and salary advances.
