Qualifications

We are Hiring: Support and Development Worker

At First People Housing CIC, we support individuals navigating homelessness, addiction, and justice system involvement. We’re looking for someone to walk alongside them, not ahead or behind, helping them build stability and purpose.

What you will do:

Help clients sustain housing and access the support they need

Co-create support plans based on trust and ambition

Deliver trauma-informed, person-led interventions

Collaborate with housing, health, and justice teams

Keep clear records and reflect on practice

What you will need:

Experience supporting people with housing or complex needs

Compassion, confidence, and trauma-informed insight

Understanding of housing systems and tenancy rights

A full driving licence and daily access to a car
