Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our award-winning specialist school in Reigate. You will support students on the autism spectrum and collaborate with teaching staff to foster inclusive learning environments.

Working hours are 8:30–4:30. Driving is preferred due to travel between sites. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required, with 3–6 months SEN experience or transferable care/support skills considered valuable.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months working with SEN pupils or transferable skills from care or similar fields.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Understanding of autism and other complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Support students on the autism spectrum within a specialist setting.
• Assist class teachers with planning and delivering inclusive activities.

Transferrable skills from other related fields: care, support work or similar.
