Job summary

CER Education is seeking qualified supply teachers to work with Primary schools in the Prescot area, starting from November 2026. The role offers day-to-day, short-term and longer-term placements to fit around your availability.

Roles involve delivering engaging lessons, creating inclusive classrooms, and supporting pupil progress. DBS and full work rights in the UK required; a weekly payment scheme and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in primary settings.
• Enhanced DBS on the Live Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• Right to work in the UK and professional references.

Daily rate: £140 – £240.72 per day, dependent on experience.

CER Education is currently looking to recruit supply teachers to work with Primary schools in Prescot and the surrounding areas, starting from November 2026.

This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about supporting children's learning and creating positive classroom experiences. Whether you are an experienced teacher, an ECT, or looking for flexible supply work, CER can offer day-to-day, short-term and longer-term placements to suit your availability and career plans.

Role responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated.
• Assessing pupil progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching where required to meet different learning needs.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required, helping them to build confidence, independence and participation.

Job requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
• Previous experience teaching in schools, ideally within primary
• Enhanced DBS on the Live Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• Right to work in the UK and professional references.
