Job summary

CER Education are recruiting Primary School Teachers for roles in Huyton, Knowsley. Roles start November 2026 with daily rates from £140 to £270 depending on experience. Flexible placements across Huyton and surrounding areas.

This is ideal for experienced teachers, ECTs, and supply staff seeking consistent support, local placements and the ability to choose work that fits availability. We value motivating pupils and safeguarding best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a school setting, preferably within primary education.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• The right to work in the UK and suitable professional references.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and child welfare.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Live Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum, ensuring activities are clear, purposeful and accessible.
• Assess pupil progress, provide feedback and work collaboratively with school staff to support learning outcomes.
• Differentiate teaching and learning activities to support pupils with a range of needs and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel supported, encouraged and able to build confidence.
• Contribute to the wider school community such as school meetings/parents evenings/marking.

This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs and supply teachers who want consistent support, local school placements and the flexibility to choose work that suits your availability. We are keen to speak with confident classroom practitioners who can motivate pupils, support learning progress and contribute positively to school life.
