GSL Education is currently looking to recruit motivated and flexible Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in Withernsea. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons while maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment in the absence of the usual class teacher.

Supply Teacher Requirements:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent teaching experience within the last two years.
• Strong classroom presence and excellent behaviour management skills.
• Confident communicator, able to build rapport with students and staff.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one via GSL Education.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new school environments and routines.

Supply Teacher Responsibilities:

• Deliver prepared lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Manage the classroom effectively and follow the school’s behaviour policy.
• Accurately record attendance and report any issues or concerns to relevant staff.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supervise pupils during lessons, break times, and lunch periods where required.
