GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to support secondary schools in the Goole area. If you enjoy stepping into different classrooms, delivering engaging pre-set lessons, and creating a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher, this could be the perfect role for you.

Supply Teacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Have recent classroom experience within the last two years
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Be confident in building positive relationships with students and staff
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one via GSL Education
• Be flexible and confident working across a range of school settings

Supply Teacher Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and objectives
• Uphold the school’s behaviour policies and ensure a calm, structured classroom
• Record attendance accurately and report any concerns to school staff
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
• Supervise students during lessons and, where required, during break or lunch periods
