Job summary

Flourish Education are seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Experienced Teachers to work as Supply Teachers across partner primary schools in and around Smethwick. This flexible role lets you choose when and where you work, keeping you in control of your schedule.

Are you looking for a Supply Teacher role that offers flexibility and variety? Flourish Education are seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Experienced Teachers to work across our partner primary schools in and around Smethwick. Working as a Supply Teacher gives you the flexibility to choose when and where you work, putting you in control of your working schedule.

As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools and year groups, gaining valuable experience and developing your teaching skills across the primary age range.

We have day to day and short-term opportunities, meaning we can help you find a position that best suits your experience, availability and preferences.

As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Managing behaviour during lessons and ensuring all children leave with a positive experience.
• Adapting to many different Schools and year groups.

Required skills and experience needed as a Supply teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience of working within Primary Schools with EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Strong Behaviour Management Skills.
• Friendly and supportive personality
• Ability to be able to adapt to working in different schools and environments.

Working as a Supply Teacher for Flourish Education offers you other excellent benefits including:

• Pay: £130.00 – £160.00 day rate which equates to £25,350 per annum to £32,175 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year (dependent on experience)
