Job summary

Flourish Education in Pershore is seeking dedicated Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming Primary Schools. We offer day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements with flexibility to suit your availability.

You will deliver high-quality lessons, follow existing plans, and adapt to different year groups while supporting pupils’ academic and social development in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching in a Primary School setting.
• Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Ability to adapt to different classrooms and school routines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across primary year groups.
• Follow existing lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning.

As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across different year groups, supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development. You will follow existing lesson plans where provided, maintain positive classroom environments and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the usual class teacher.

As a Supply Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

To be successful in this Supply Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching within a Primary School setting.
• A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Experience teaching across different primary year groups.
• The ability to adapt confidently to different classroom environments and school routines.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high expectations for behaviour.
• A flexible, patient and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
