Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for flexible primary school teaching practitioners in Lincoln and surrounding areas. Roles range from 1 day per week to full-time supply, with daily rates between 140 and 180 and longer-term rates from 171 to 271 per day.

This role involves covering various year groups, maintaining student progress, managing behaviour, and passing safeguarding queries to the designated lead. CPD via The National College supports development.

Qualifications

• Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working in UK schools.
• Enhanced DBS, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
• CV must cover the full CV History.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Supply Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for flexible primary school teaching practitioners that are available from as little as 1 day per week, up to full time, to work in schools in Lincoln and the surrounding areas. This is a temporary position, and further details about availability or work requirements can be established by phoning the numbers below. Payment for daily supply teacher bookings will be between 140 and 180 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and distance travelled. We are looking for practitioners who can start September 2026.

Long term positions will be paid in line with the main teaching pay scale, from M1 to UPS 3, scaled to a daily rate of between 171 to 271 per day.

This role will involve working on a flexible basis covering a variety of year groups. You will be responsible for ensuring that students are behaving and making progress throughout the day, and responsible for ensuring that any safeguarding concerns or queries are passed on to the designated safeguarding lead. You will provide an integral role in the day to day running of the schools you are working in. Consistency is extremely important for schools, so it is very likely that many of your shifts will be in the same school or set of schools, to ensure that the learners have a familiar face teaching them, you are well versed in school policies, and that you are comfortable within a school that is familiar to you.

In these areas we are on excellent terms with a large number of schools, and have bookings available on a daily basis or a longer term basis depending on the needs of the schools at the time.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
