GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools across Boston. This role offers flexible daily supply work, with opportunities for part-time or full-time arrangements to suit your availability and lifestyle.

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintain high standards of behaviour, adapt to different school environments, and provide feedback to staff.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning while maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment. This role is ideal for experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and those returning to the classroom who are seeking flexibility and variety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement
• Adapt confidently to different secondary school environments and subject areas
• Ensure students remain on task and complete the work set
• Provide clear feedback to teaching staff following lessons

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
