Job summary

GSL Education is seeking experienced Secondary Teachers to work across outstanding secondary schools in Basingstoke. This role offers flexible daily supply work or a rewarding long-term opportunity, with September 2026 start.

You will deliver engaging lessons, manage varied classes and help students progress within the UK National Curriculum. The role supports both daily supply and longer placements in welcoming schools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Secondary Teacher in UK secondary schools.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• A genuine passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
