Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Okehampton is seeking flexible Supply Teachers to cover primary classes from September 2026. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities across EYFS to KS2, with a focus on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or an equivalent qualification, has UK primary teaching experience, and can adapt quickly to different schools. DBS with Update Service is preferred.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Follow school plans and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom settings.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
