Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across welcoming schools in Flixton and surrounding areas. This role offers flexibility, variety, and a better work-life balance while still making a real impact in the classroom.

You can choose day-to-day supply, short-term or longer placements, with competitive daily rates paid weekly and a dedicated consultant to support you throughout placements, CPD opportunities, and guaranteed safeguarding compliance.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

• Establish a productive learning environment and manage behaviour as needed.
• Follow school policies, adapt to different schools and year groups.
• Support pupils, including SEN and EAL learners, to meet learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons across a range of subjects
• Step into classrooms with confidence and quickly establish a productive learning environment, utilising behaviour management skills where required.
• Follow school specific processes and policies (e.g behaviour management, safeguarding)
• Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups and classroom expectations.
• Support pupils of varying abilities, including SEN and EAL learners where required.
• Keep students on task and motivated ensuring learning outcomes are achieved.
• Provide feedback to school staff on lesson outcomes and pupil progression.
• Maintain high-levels of professionalism, punctuality and reliability at all times.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and confident working in new environments
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
