Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teaching Assistant for a specialist educational school in Tadworth. You will support learners aged 5-18 with complex learning needs, including autism and non-verbal communication, assisting classroom learning and social development.

Hours are 8:30-4:30; there are opportunities for both long-term placements and supply work. DBS required; sponsorship not offered; GCSE English/Maths at 4/C or above; own vehicle preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of experience within special education, working with students who have autism, complex needs and are non-verbal.
• Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult Workforce) on the Update Service or willingness to undergo one.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK – sponsorship is not offered.
• GCSE grades in English and Maths at 4/C or above.
• Access to your own vehicle is preferred.
