Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a specialist educational school in Tadworth. You will support students aged 5-18 with complex learning needs, autism, and non-verbal communication, helping them develop academically and socially.

Role offers opportunities for long-term placements or supply work, with day-to-day hours 8:30-4:30. A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required, with GCSEs in English and Maths at 4/C or above preferred, and own transport

Qualifications

• 3–6 months experience in special education.
• Experience with autism, complex needs and non-verbal students.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain on Update Service.

Supply: Special Education Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a specialist educational school located in Tadworth.

In this role, you will work closely with students aged 5-18 who have complex learning needs and difficulties. You will support their classroom learning, foster positive social relationships, and encourage their overall development. Opportunities are available for both long-term placement and supply work.

Working Hours: 8:30-4:30

Requirements:

3-6 months of experience within special education, working with students who have autism, complex needs and are non-verbal.

Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult Workforce) on the Update Service or willingness to undergo one.

Full eligibility to work in the UK - sponsorship is not offered with any of these roles.

GCSE grades in English and Maths at 4/C or above.

Access to your own vehicle is preferred.
