Job summary

Morson Edge in Odiham, United Kingdom, seeks a Supplies Producer (Stores) to manage day-to-day stores housekeeping, deployment clothing, and stock control on the MJDI system.

You will maintain accurate records of issued clothing and equipment, monitor outstanding demands, and ensure timely replenishment to deployed personnel. Forklift experience and a full UK driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Stores/Stock handling.
• Familiar with MJDI system or similar inventory systems.
• Forklift experience preferred; driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• The day-to-day housekeeping and good husbandry of the Stores.
• Ensuring all deployment clothing is accounted for on the system (MJDI) or manual accounting for pool equipment.
• Maintenance and storage of deployment clothing and field equipment; obtain replacements for unserviceable items.
• Monitor deployment clothing demands weekly to ensure arrival on Station before personnel deploy.
• Maintain records of clothing issued to personnel to avoid duplication of demands.
• Maintain records of deployment kitting on loan to personnel, archive paperwork, and reference Loans Register for returns.
• Assess current stock holdings to keep surplus low and adequacy high for contingency.
• Collate deployment clothing requests before sending to Support Authority for procurement.
• Monitor outstanding demands to ensure equipment is received in time for deployments.
• Maintain SharePoint databases for deploying personnel.

Supply Producer (Stores)

Job Duties:

• The day-to-day housekeeping and good husbandry of the Stores.
• Ensuring all deployment clothing is accounted for on the system (MJDI) or manual accounting for pool equipment.
• The maintenance and storage of all deployment clothing and field equipment. Any unserviceable items are to be re-categorised and appropriate action taken to obtain a replacement.
• Monitoring all outstanding deployment clothing demands on a weekly basis to ensure that outstanding requests arrive on Station prior to personnel deploying.
• Maintaining accurate records of all deployment clothing issued to personnel to avoid duplication of demands.
• Maintaining accurate records of deployment kitting on loan to personnel, ensuring paperwork is archived and cross referred onto the Loans Register, and hastening any returns that pass their return dates.
• Assessing the current holdings of deployment kitting to ensure that surplus stock is kept to a minimum, whilst keeping adequate stock levels for contingency.
• Collating of all deployment clothing requests before being sent to the relevant Support Authority for procurement.
• Monitoring all outstanding demands to ensure that Operational equipment is received in time for deploying personnel.
• Maintaining the databases displayed on SharePoint for deploying personnel.
