About the role

We are recruiting for a Supply Planner Promotions based at our head office in Hemel Hempstead and Equity House in Wellingborough. The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 remote).

This position involves end-to-end planning and stock flow management for promotional activities, ensuring timely delivery to the distribution network, branches, and customers.

You will be responsible for

• Maximizing product availability during promotional events.
• Adhering to critical timescales and escalating issues appropriately.
• Managing stock flow from distribution centers to branches and customers.
• Loading and releasing allocations accurately.
• Root cause analysis of stock availability issues and communication of key issues.
• Data analysis, report generation, and providing insights.
• Responding to queries and supporting seasonal events and clearance activities.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage trading activities effectively.
• Ensuring compliance with GSCOP timelines and our Business Code of Conduct.

You will need

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Attention to detail, report writing, data interpretation, and accurate record-keeping.
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant markets and market developments.
• Flexibility in work approach and quick learning of new technical skills.
• Relevant experience, preferably in FMCG, working with large data sets, and autonomous team working.
