MISSION
We are looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join the team. You will be responsible for creating a robust demand plan for the UK business as well as working cross-functionally with the wider supply chain, commercial & marketing teams, and EMEA demand teams to deliver business targets through the S&OP process.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning
- Manage an 18-month rolling forecast for Shiseido Brands in the UK & I market, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Champion process excellence, including the S&OP process.
- Analyze portfolio performance to understand and react to demand trends.
- Provide Root Cause Analysis when results deviate from targets.
- Focus on Forecast Accuracy / MAPE with continuous improvement strategies.
- Strive to meet demand planning and supply chain KPIs to improve stock availability without increasing Excess & Obsolescence.
- Lead monthly brand demand reviews, including presenting forecast gap analysis, highlighting insights, proposing strategy or forecast amendments, and translating brand actions into forecasts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate and communicate with Marketing, Commercial, Finance, and EMEA Supply Chain teams to manage forecast building blocks, including NPD launches, marketing promotions, promotional products, retailer performance, distribution amendments, phase in/out strategies, risks, opportunities, and non-saleable forecasts.
Ad Hoc
- Adapt to critical business process changes.
- Support the Demand Planning Manager in strategic planning, preparing for and attending monthly Executive S&OP meetings.

- Reports to Demand Planning Manager.
- Location: London, UK.
- Contract: Permanent.
PROFILE
- Experience as a Demand Planner in cosmetics/fragrance or similar fast-paced sectors (FMCG, Mass retail).
- Strong forecasting experience with a commercial focus.
- Experience with S&OP cycles.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Experience with SAP IBP or similar tools.
- High numeracy, analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
