Job summary

Escape Recruitment Services Ltd. is partnering with a fast-paced FMCG manufacturer in the UK to recruit a Supply Chain Planner.

The role focuses on turning orders and forecasts into practical production plans, ensuring materials are available and products move smoothly through the supply chain. The successful candidate will work with Production, Procurement, Account Managers, Suppliers and Customers, managing changing demand, solving problems and keeping things on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain, Production or Materials Planning, ideally in FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with production schedules, customer demand, stock levels or material requirements; strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills.
• Graduates with a relevant degree are welcome; must have strong analytical skills and Excel ability.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production plans aligned with customer orders and forecasts.
• Plan raw materials and coordinate orders to meet production needs.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust plans as demand changes.
• Analyze sales, forecasts and stock levels to minimise waste and maintain availability.

Escape Recruitment is working with an established FMCG manufacturer supplying major retailers across the UK, who is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join its busy team.

This is a hands‑on role at the heart of the operation, turning customer orders and sales forecasts into effective production plans, ensuring materials are available and keeping products moving through the supply chain.

You will work closely with Production, Procurement, Account Managers, Suppliers and Customers, helping to manage changing demand, solve problems and keep everything on track.

The role:

• Creating and maintaining production plans in line with customer orders and sales forecasts.
• Planning raw materials and coordinating orders to meet production requirements.
• Monitoring production schedules and adjusting plans as demand changes.
• Analysing sales, forecasts and stock levels to minimise waste and maintain availability.
• Maintaining accurate product and inventory data within ERP/MRP systems.
• Working with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve issues and support on‑time delivery.

About you:

We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in Supply Chain, Production or Materials Planning, ideally within FMCG or a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

You will have experience of working with production schedules, customer demand, stock levels or material requirements, and be confident using Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

We are also happy to consider graduates with a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations or a similar discipline, provided they have strong analytical skills, good Excel ability and a genuine interest in manufacturing and planning.

Whichever route you've taken, you'll need excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to manage changing priorities while building effective relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
