Job summary

Supply Operative Level 2 in Manchester Dairy M17 1TU is a full-time/permanent role at Müller. The job covers setting up and operating bottle supply and blow moulding processes, ensuring safety, quality, and on-target production.

You will work a 4 on 4 off rotating shift (2 days, 2 nights) from 7:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00, with training to mentor Level 1 operators and support manufacturing lines across packaging and stock movements.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy warehouse, manufacturing or production environment on shift patterns.
• Confident working with machinery and production equipment.
• Good understanding of health and safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Ability to follow procedures, complete paperwork accurately and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong team-working and communication skills.
• Food contact packaging experience would be desirable.
• NC Manufacturing or NVQ Warehousing qualification would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and automatic machines, including basic fault finding.
• Carry out bottle supply changeovers and help reduce downtime.
• Load and unload trailers for stock movement, following agreed loading formats.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, housekeeping and site cleanliness.
• Report health and safety, quality incidents or accidents to the relevant manager or engineering support team.
• Support and mentor Level 1 Supply Operatives where required.
