Job summary

Storal Learning Ltd. is seeking an Early Years Educator for Farley Steeple Nursery in Steeple Langford, near Salisbury. This full-time role involves covering for children as needed, including holidays, sickness, or vacancies, with sessions varying between mornings, afternoons or full days.

You’ll work within EYFS standards, bringing creativity and warmth to early learning. A Level 2+ EY qualification is required, with knowledge of EYFS desirable, and a positive, collaborative approach is

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years.
• Experience as an Early Years Educator is advantageous.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cover for the children as needed during holidays, sickness or vacancies.
• Support for full days or mornings/afternoons as required.
• Engage children with creative activities within EYFS standards.

Salary: Up to £14.21 per hour (depends on qualification and experience)

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll be helping to providecover for the children asand when needed. This could befor periods of holiday, sickness, or evenvacancy gaps. Sometimes you'll support forafull day, or it may just be amorning or afternoon session.

You’ll likely start most of yourdays with afully formulated plan.... That will soonget completely derailed though... Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!

Creativity is key.Teaching young children allows forhands onarts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course we work within theEYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.

You’re a Level 2 or abovequalified, Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar and you're looking for anEarly Years Educator/Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner role that allows you flexibility of working shifts around your other commitments.

What you'll need

• A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years.
